Description

A rare form of the infant Krishna in a seated position. Krishna is shown with a pot on one knee and a butterball in his right hand. There is some wear to the face but it is in great condition for the age. The detail is excellent quality. Beside Santana Gopala and Vattapatrasayin the depiction of a seated Balakrishna is among the rarest and this is actually only the second of quality we have come across.
