Description

A very rare image of Lord Krishna as the flute playing cowherd. In this form he is called Venugopala. Here we see him with his consort on his knee. Only once have we see an icon in this form. There is some damage to it. A missing left hand and some bronze loss on the base but this does not detract from the beauty and rarity of this piece.
