Vishnu Altar (IBH346)
This early altar shows Vishnu standing in Samapada featuring his common attribues such as the chakra, conch, lotus bud and in the lower left the mace. He is adorned with a long vanamala covered in the centre by the scarf of his dothi. To his right the kneeling Garuda is in adoration.
Well worn from the poojas of generations but still all details visible and pieces of such age are becoming harder and harder to aquire.
