In all the years we have been involved in Indian bronzes this is the first plaque of this type we have come across. It depicts Lord Ganesha protected by a five hooded cobra. Although much worshipped it retains a wonderful presence and is appealing because of it's rarity. It is highly likely that we will never come across such an item again.
