Over the years we have come across similar images but never this size. This Jain image of Jina Parshvanatha is 20cm high. It is a very thickly cast and extremely heavy (please bear this in mind for international shipping).

As we would expect from a Jain image Jina Parshvanatha is shown in the most simplest of forms. The lines are straight and there is very little detail except for the diamond symbol on the chest.

There are small remain of cleaning residue in the finer detail but as can be seen from the photos cleaning has not occurred for many years.

A stunning and good sized piece of Jain art.
