It is a magical day when you come across items of obvious quality and this Devi pair is no exception. They are truly stunning. In all our years we have only seen a few items of this quality. The craftsmanship is breathtaking. The detail that has been applied is so fine even the rings on the hands are defined.

These Devis would have originally formed a set with Vishnu and we can imagine how fine a set it would have been. Here we see Sri Devi on the left and Bhu Devi on the right. Shri Devi holds a flowering lotus and Bhu Devi holds a lotus bud. Shri Devi has the breast band illustrating her royal status as Consort and Bhu Devi is bear breasted as the Lord's concubine.
