GangaJumna Rama (IBS157)
Description
Ganga Jumna pieces are quite rare. They date from the mid to late 18c. Ganga Jumna is the process of casting 2 seperate metals that represent two holy rivers in India, the Ganges and the Jumna.
This Rama is no exception. It is a wonderfully cast piece of a very impressive size. The detail is fantastic. There is no damage or bronze loss with the exception of a tiny hole in the base at the back.
We are pleased to be able to offer this piece for sale here.
