Description

Modern bronzes of Nataraja are ten a penny. It is, after all, the most iconic image. Shiva is depicted in dance, destroying and creating eveything at the same time.

In all our years of collecting and dealing in Indian bronzes we have only every been lucky enough to acquire a few genuine antique examples of this image. This 16th century piece was acquired several years ago from the USA. We are pleased to be able to offer it here.
