To find something so old in relatively good condition is a rare occurence these days. Considering it is over 300 years old it is very good condition. This stunning image represents Venugopala, Krishna playing the flute. The patination is wonderful. There is slight damage to the left wrist and both ankles. It has been rather crudely mounted on a wooden base and could probably do with being professionally mounted as undoubtedly it will not stand alone.
