We are pleased to be able to offer for sale this very rare image of Kali. Most 'Kali' images being offered for sale are infact Durga, however this image is definitely Kali! This represents a very rare opportunity. Images of Kali do not often come on the market. In all our years we have only ever received 4, 3 of which are in our personal collection.

As iconographically required She is holding the trishula (trident) and the kapala (human blood skull cap). This image only has two arms and the head of Her enemy can be seen below Her right foot. These feature add to the rarity of this image.

According the information we have received so far She originates from the rural countryside of the Tanjore district in Tamil Nadu. She is adorned with two silver bangles and the condition is simply superb. Only the prabhavali is missing.
